You’ll work collaboratively with the Headteacher, fellow governors, and the Trust to uphold high standards in education, pupil wellbeing, and school performance. Meetings take place once a term (3 times a year).**You will:**· Attend and contribute to governing body meetings· Support and challenge school leadership to ensure the best outcomes for all students· Act as a link between the school, parents, the community, and the wider Trust· Help ensure compliance with statutory duties and Trust policies**What We Are Looking For:**We are seeking individuals with:· Strong communication and teamwork skills· A willingness to learn and contribute to strategic decision-making· Experience in education, governance, or leadership (not essential – full training provided)· A genuine commitment to improving children’s lives through excellent education· Be part of a thriving Multi Academy Trust with a shared mission to grow confident learners by leading, learning and excelling together· Receive training, development, and support from both the school and the Trust· Work alongside passionate, skilled professionals and make a visible difference in your communityBeing a Local Governor is a rewarding role, offering the opportunity to make a real impact on young people’s lives and give back to your local community.
