Duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining designated areas including classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal spaces.
- Using appropriate cleaning equipment and materials to ensure hygiene and safety.
- Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and hand sanitiser.
- Reporting hazards and ensuring safe working practices.
- Working independently and as part of a team to meet high cleanliness standards.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has basic knowledge of health and safety in a school environment.
- Has the ability to follow instructions and complete tasks to a high standard.
- Is physically able to carry out cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing.
- Has a positive attitude and pride in a job well done.
- Has a willingness to undertake training and adhere to safeguarding policies.
- Is a team player with a good sense of humour and a positive attitude.
- Is energetic, caring and flexible.
