An enthusiastic Learning and Behaviour Mentor to join Castle Mead Academy, part of The Mead Educational Trust, supporting pastoral care and behaviour management. The role involves leading guidance on student behaviour, working with teachers, and fostering a calm, orderly learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support scholars and uphold the ethos, expectations and standards of the academy.
- Work as part of the Pastoral Care Team, contributing to behaviour management strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers and colleagues to deliver interventions and support.
- Hold pastoral appointments and teach behavioural lessons as required.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and incidents.
Qualifications & requirements:
- Experience in pastoral, safeguarding or behavioural support in a secondary school setting.
- Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
- Positive, practical, and no-excuses approach to supporting adolescents.
Other information:
