We are seeking enthusiastic and practical individuals to join our Outdoor Operations team, helping us keep the estate safe, welcoming and running smoothly throughout the busy season.
As an Outdoor Operations Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of the visitor experience. From supporting parking and traffic flow to maintaining cleanliness and safety across the grounds, you’ll ensure every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable visit to Castle Howard.
Responsibilities
- Provide a warm welcome and excellent customer service to all visitors.
- Assist with car parking and traffic management.
- Ensure outdoor areas, facilities and walkways are safe, clean and well-presented.
- Support colleagues across departments with estate-wide operations.
- Respond quickly and professionally to visitor queries or issues.
About you
- Friendly, approachable and comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
- A team player with strong communication skills.
- Practical, proactive and able to use initiative.
- Flexible to work weekends, bank holidays, and peak event times.
