Gallery Technician

We have an opportunity at our prestigious Manchester Gallery to join the team as a Gallery Technician. We\’re looking for a proactive individual, with excellent organisational skills to help maintain our high standards and support the team with gallery operations. You\’ll be responsible for setting up new artist releases, gallery events, and exhibitions throughout the year and also supporting the gallery team during peak times. This role is full-time, working 5 days out of 7 (Sunday to Thursday), based in the Manchester gallery. What The Gallery Technician Role Includes: • You\’ll manage the stockroom efficiently, ensuring that all artwork is clearly labelled, accessible, and easy to find • You\’ll ensure artwork is treated carefully and damage is minimised through correct wrapping and storage • You\’ll process all gallery deliveries correctly and in line with stockroom procedures • You\’ll support the gallery team with re-hanging as and when required, including printing and displaying price tags and artist biographies for all artwork on show • You\’ll support the gallery team in the organising and running of artist appearances and other gallery events and exhibitions throughout the year • You\’ll provide after-sales follow up with clients and provide feedback on client satisfaction<br…
