- Performing bearing, seal and component replacements on rotating equipment.
- Supporting welding and pipefitting activities where required.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the CMMS system.
- Working to permits, safe systems of work and site LOTOTO procedures.
- Identifying recurring faults and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting and overseeing contractors on site, ensuring work is completed safely and in line with permits and method statements.

What You'll Need
- Time‑served apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent mechanical engineering qualification.

- Ability to work independently and recognise when specialist support is required.
- Experience using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).

- Experience working on a chemical, hazardous waste, recycling or heavy process site.
- Working at Height and Confined Space qualifications.
- MEWP licence.
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
- Permit‑to‑work and LOTOTO experience.

- A published career progression structure with clear development opportunities.
- The opportunity to work on a wide variety of industrial plant including shredders, conveyors, tankers, reactors, pumps, pipework and process systems.
