Are you an experienced Plater / Welder Supervisor looking for a fresh challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading name in structural steel manufacturing, where you will play a key role in production efficiency and team development.

What’s on Offer?

  • Four-night week: Monday – Thursday, 7:00pm – 4:45am
  • Highly competitive pay: £26.47 per hour (£50,928 basic per year)
  • Overtime up to £34.74 per hour

The Role

As a Plater / Welder Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of platers and welders, ensuring targets are met safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed
  • Coordinating materials, equipment, and workflow to maximise production efficiency
  • Supporting the development of team members, including apprentices
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, completing permits, and ensuring compliance with company procedures
  • Working closely with production management to report progress and resolve any issues

  • Strong plating and welding experience in a structural steel manufacturing environment
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in reading and interpreting drawings
