A well-established Accountancy Practice based in Hull are currently recruiting for a Trainee Accountant to join their growing team on a permanent basis. On offer is a salary of up to £26,000 plus a fantastic range of benefits including study support, flexible working options, and paid overtime at 1.5x.

As a Trainee Accountant, you will be:
Assisting with the preparation of management and statutory accounts
Supporting accountants with client work across audit and tax
Processing invoices, expenses, and reconciling bank statements
Helping to complete VAT returns and other reporting requirements
Building strong relationships with clients through effective communication
Gaining valuable hands-on experience while working towards professional qualificationsTo be successful in this Trainee Accountant role, you will ideally have/be:
A genuine interest in developing a career in accountancy and finance
Strong numerical ability and excellent attention to detail
Confident IT skills, with knowledge of Excel and accounting software (such as Sage, Xero or QuickBooks)
Studying towards, or keen to start, AAT/ACCA/ACA qualifications
Organised, proactive, and able to work both independently and within a team environmentThis fantastic opportunity is easily commutable from Hull, Beverley, Cottingham, Hessle, and surrounding areas. The office has free on-site parking available, and is also accessible by public transport routes.
