Pay: £14.50 – £17.50 per hour
Start Date: ASAP & September Opportunities Available
Hours: Full time or part time
Contract: Temporary, Temp to Perm & Permanent Opportunities
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for Social, Emotional and Mental Health School Support staff to work within supportive SEN and SEMH settings across Scarborough. This is a rewarding role supporting children and young people with additional needs, behavioural challenges, and emotional barriers to learning. You will play a key role in helping students regulate emotions, build positive relationships, and engage successfully within education settings.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals
- Calm, resilient and patient approach
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Passion for supporting students with SEMH and additional needs
- Backgrounds in education, care, youth work, coaching or support work welcomed
