A great opportunity has come up to join a fantastic, international company on the outskirts of Scarborough, in a busy role helping to coordinate upcoming events across the UK and Europe. This part-time temporary position offers an immediate start and is expected to run for around three months, with the potential to continue beyond this.
Working closely with the team, you will play an important part in promoting events, contacting targeted clients and keeping everything organised behind the scenes. Some of the duties are:
- Liaising with the Marketing team to gather key details for each event, including dates, locations and target audiences
- Researching relevant attendees using the internal CRM system and LinkedIn
- Calling organisations to identify the correct person and gather accurate contact information
- Sending event invitations by email or LinkedIn
- Following up on invites, confirming attendance and tracking RSVPs
- Keeping information updated and organised to support the wider team
The ideal person will be confident speaking with organisations on the phone with a friendly tone, and comfortable using CRM systems and LinkedIn for research. Strong organisation, attention to detail and a proactive approach will help you succeed in the role. This is a part-time role offering 20 to 30 hours per week, flexible to suit your availability. Options could include four days working 9am to 3pm, or two to three full days depending on what suits.
