We are looking for a caring and qualified Level 3 Nursery Support Assistant to work within early years settings across York. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young children during their most important developmental stages and enjoys working as part of a nurturing team.
You will work closely with nursery practitioners and room leaders to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing, ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all.
Responsibilities:
- Support children on a one to one basis and in small groups
- Assist with planning and delivering age appropriate activities
- Promote learning through play and exploration
- Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment
- Observe, record, and contribute to children’s progress and development
- Work in line with EYFS framework and safeguarding policies
