Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN and SEMH needs in a structured and nurturing environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to pupils' academic progress, confidence and independence.
The Role
- Support pupils with SEN and SEMH needs on a one to one and small group basis
- Assist the class teacher with adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
- Implement behaviour strategies using a trauma informed approach
- Encourage emotional regulation, resilience and positive engagement
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the teaching team
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and leadership to ensure consistent support
