A well-established and leading manufacturing company based in North Yorkshire is looking for Production Controllers to join the business. This is a full-time permanent position working in a busy, fast-paced, demanding environment. Working Monday to Friday 37 hours and offers attractive salary & benefits.

The successful Production Controller will be responsible for:

  • Releasing job cards into production via the VWR and VSSR systems.
  • Pushing and pulling product through the production and stores departments (flow).
  • Reviewing shortages and expediting priorities.
  • Progress reporting on production.
  • Liaison for project managers.

The ideal Production Controller will have previous relevant experience of working in a planning/materials role ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You must understand the production planning processes and have experience with MRP/ERP systems. You should have excellent organisational skills and strong IT skills, in particular MS Excel.

The Production Planner role offers a competitive salary and the working hours are 37 per week (8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs & to 4pm Friday) and is commutable from Pickering, Malton, Scarborough, York, Thirsk & surrounding areas.
