A leading UK food manufacturer is looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician to support continued growth. You’ll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly by resolving breakdowns, delivering planned maintenance and supporting site-wide improvements in machinery, hygiene, quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out both preventative and reactive maintenance
  • Support continuous improvement activities across the site
  • Work within an established PPM schedule alongside breakdown response
  • Provide mechanical and electrical support to all operational areas
  • Fault finding, breakdown cover and equipment installation

About You:

  • Multi-skilled engineer with electrical and mechanical qualifications (apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC, etc.)
  • HACCP and GMP qualified
  • Familiar with safe systems of work
  • Experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment with tools such as TPM
  • Understanding of OEE
  • Positive attitude, practical problem solver, eager to learn and proactive in driving change
