CNC Programmer Location: Sherburn Salary: £34,132 basic (£16.83 per hour) + Overtime Available Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time The Opportunity A leading manufacturing business is seeking a CNC Programmer to join its busy production team. Working within a specialist programming department, you'll play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring work is programmed accurately, efficiently and delivered to demanding deadlines. The Role * Create and maintain CNC programs for automated manufacturing machinery * Work closely with Production and CAD teams to ensure efficient workflow * Support production operations by resolving programming and manufacturing issues * Update and maintain programming records and material databases * Assist in identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve manufacturing efficiency * Ensure production schedules and deadlines are achieved * Spend time both in the programming office and on the shop floor supporting operations * Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the manufacturing facility About You We are interested in candidates who have: Essential * Previous CNC Programming experience OR strong CAD experience * Good computer skills * Strong attention to detail * Excellent problem-solving abilities * Ability to work effectively within a team environment Desirable * Experience using SAP * Experience working with automated machinery * Manufacturing or steel industry experience Candidates with exceptional CNC operating experience and a strong desire to move into programming will also be considered.
