Interim Finance Manager

A business in the education sector near Malton are currently recruiting for an Interim Finance Manager to support their team for an initial 4–6 month period. On offer is a competitive salary of £50,000 to £60,000 per annum, and the chance to work in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. This role may be done on a 3-5 day basis, and has the potential to become a permanent role, should this be desired. As the Finance Manager, you will be: Leading month-end and year-end reporting processes Preparing and reviewing management accounts Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Liaising with auditors and external stakeholders Streamlining financial controls and processes Providing commercial insight to support decision-making Managing and mentoring a small finance teamTo be successful in this Finance Manager role, you will ideally have/be: A qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent) or qualified by experience Strong Excel skills and confidence using financial systems Proven experience in a senior finance role Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment An analytical thinker with great communication skillsThis fantastic opportunity is easily commutable from Malton, Norton, Pickering, York, Scarborough, Driffield and surrounding areas.
