Castle Employment is delighted to be recruiting for an established agricultural buildings company who is looking for a proactive Health & Safety Manager to take full ownership of safety across their production facility and customer sites. This is an exclusive opportunity and is site-based with extensive travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain health & safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments for manufacturing and on-site installation work.
- Oversee workshop safety, machinery use, manual handling, and COSHH compliance.
- Prepare RAMS and site-specific safety documentation.
- Lead audits, inspections, and accident investigations.
- Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing training.
- Act as the main contact for clients, regulators, and internal teams.
- Promote a proactive, positive safety culture across the workforce.
What We’re Looking For:
- NEBOSH General Certificate – essential
- Experience in a senior Health & Safety role
- Knowledge of the agricultural industry advantageous.
- Knowledge of construction site safety essential.
This role offers a highly competitive salary plus mobile and laptop and will involve regular travel. The business is commutable from Malton, Driffield, York, Hull and surrounding areas.
