My client is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to provide some temporary support for a minimum of 3 months. The role is based in the York area and is to start immediately.

The successful Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Conducting workplace Health and Safety checks at a range of placement providers.
  • Using a standardised template of questions to guide assessments (full training provided).
  • Completing follow-up paperwork and administrative duties post-visit.
  • Communicating effectively with employers and college staff regarding Health and Safety standards.
  • Supporting the Health and Safety team by carrying out on-site assessments to ensure that work placements are fully compliant with current Health and Safety legislation.

I am really keen to see your CV if you have some previous relevant experience in a Health and Safety advisory or inspection role. You should have NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and an Enhanced DBS.

The role is working Monday to Friday, working 37.5 hours.
