Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in a supportive primary school environment? Castle Education are working with welcoming primary schools across York who are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils in the classroom. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, thrives in a busy school environment and wants to make a real difference in pupils' learning and confidence. The role offers flexibility and a reduced workload, allowing you to focus on supporting pupils and creating positive learning experiences.
Your Role
- Support the class teacher with day to day classroom activities
- Provide one to one or small group support for pupils
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils with different learning needs including SEN where required
- Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence
