As a Finance Assistant, you will:
Support the Finance Manager with accounts and general bookkeeping duties

Process Sales Ledger transactions including invoicing, cash allocation, credit control, and maintaining customer accounts

Undertake Purchase Ledger tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

Maintain cash books and complete bank reconciliations

Analyse and monitor credit card statements

Provide administrative support and create/maintain Excel spreadsheets

To be successful in this Finance Assistant role, you will ideally have:
A good understanding of bookkeeping principles and computerised accounting systems

Experience using Sage 50 Accounts or similar software

Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook

High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills

A proactive, flexible and self-motivated approach
