An established engineering and manufacturing business with a global customer base is looking to recruit an Electrical & Electronics Design Engineer to support the design and development of specialist engineered systems used in demanding offshore environments. What the Electrical & Electronics Design Engineer role will involve:
- Managing engineering design projects from concept through to manufacturing handover
- Producing electrical and electronic designs, specifications and technical documentation
- Supporting the development of new products and engineering improvements
- Designing and supporting systems including power distribution, communication protocols and industrial electronics
- Providing technical support to production, integration and logistics teams
- Supporting customer enquiries, proposals and technical documentation
- Assisting with testing, inspection and certification activities
