We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in the Scarborough area.

Supplying high-quality machined components into a variety of industries, the business offers a modern machining environment, ongoing investment in its people and clear opportunities for career progression.

The Role As a CNC Operative, you'll play a key role in manufacturing precision components to the highest quality standards.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include

Setting and operating CNC machinery.

Producing one-off and small batch precision components.

Working from engineering drawings.

Manufacturing components to tight tolerances.

Inspecting your own work using measuring equipment.

Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and housekeeping.

Working collaboratively within an experienced machining team.

About You To be successful, you'll ideally have

Previous experience setting and operating CNC machinery.

Experience within a precision engineering or metal fabrication environment.

The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

A keen eye for detail and pride in producing high-quality work.

Experience in any of the following would also be beneficial, but is not essential:

CNC milling or turning.

Editing or creating CNC programmes.

Heidenhain controls.

CAD/CAM software such as Solid Works or CAMWorks.

What's in It for You? £16.00 per hour. 30% shift allowance.

Overtime available.

Permanent, full-time position.

Monday to Friday rotating shifts: 6:00am - 2:00pm 2:00pm - 10:00pm Ongoing training and development.
