Castle Manufacturing is recruiting an experienced Manufacturing Production Planner on behalf of a well-established manufacturing organisation based in East Yorkshire. This role is critical to ensuring production plans are robust, efficient, and aligned with business demand.
This position requires an experienced manufacturing planner who can confidently manage production planning across multiple departments, ensuring delivery, efficiency, and performance targets are consistently achieved.
Key Duties- Plan, coordinate, and prioritise production activities across multiple product lines.
- Support planning across key manufacturing areas including Packing, Tablets, Softgel, and two-piece encapsulation.
- Ensure labour, equipment, and raw materials are aligned to meet production demand.
- Monitor production performance, addressing issues to minimise disruption and delay.
- Maintain and regularly update production plans, schedules, and shift patterns.
- Track output, OTIF performance, downtime, and defects, reporting to senior management.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies and continuous improvement.
- Proven experience as a Production Planner within a manufacturing environment (essential).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and production scheduling.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience working with performance metrics such as OTIF and production output.
- A key role within a stable and growing manufacturing business.
