A well-established and growing manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Customer Service Coordinator to support its key customer accounts and order fulfilment activity. This is a customer-facing role within the supply chain and operations function, focused on delivering a high standard of service across major accounts while ensuring orders are managed accurately and delivered on time. You will work closely with planning, supply chain, sales and operations teams, acting as a key link between the business and its customers to ensure a smooth and transparent service experience. This position would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering a consistently high level of service.

You will take ownership of key customer accounts, managing communication, coordinating orders, and supporting fulfilment activity to ensure strong OTIF performance and customer satisfaction. The role is based in Bridlington, East Yorkshire and is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary depending on experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for a number of key customer accounts
  • Building strong relationships through proactive communication and regular updates
  • Managing customer queries, complaints and escalations through to resolution
  • Attending customer review calls and providing updates on orders and service performance
  • Processing customer orders and aligning delivery dates with production schedules
  • Monitoring order progress and communicating any delays or shortages in advance
  • Maintaining accurate customer order trackers and internal records
  • Producing weekly and monthly reports on order status and service performance
  • Preparing commercial invoices and export documentation where required
  • Completing relevant export and compliance documentation for international shipments
  • Processing credit notes and supporting order amendments
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure orders progress efficiently through the business
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer service and operational performance

This role requires someone who is organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities within a busy operational environment.

You will ideally bring:

  • Previous experience in a customer service, account coordination or supply chain role
  • Experience working within manufacturing, engineering or a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • A confident and professional telephone manner
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused approach
  • Good IT skills, including confidence using Excel and business systems
