We are currently recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to work in a supportive primary school in Bradford from September 2026. This role is ideal for a teacher with a strong understanding of end-of-Key Stage 1 expectations, who can prepare pupils for greater independence, assessment, and progression into Key Stage 2 while maintaining a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Your responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Year 2 lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Prepare pupils for end-of-Key Stage 1 assessments, including SATs-style assessments where appropriate
- Consolidate key literacy and numeracy skills to ensure pupils meet age-related expectations
- Differentiating learning to support a range of abilities, including pupils with SEND
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants and the SENCO to support pupil progress
- Establish clear routines and promote pupil independence
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Year 2 or strong upper KS1 experience
- A secure understanding of Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment
- Confident classroom management and strong communication skills
- Adaptable and committed to high-quality teaching and learning
