If you are an experienced Microwave Filter Design Engineer looking to work on genuinely complex, high-performance RF technology, this is an opportunity to step into an environment where engineering excellence is at the centre of everything.
You will take ownership of sophisticated filter designs that move from concept through to production, working on projects where precision, reliability and performance are non-negotiable.
- Take ownership of end-to-end filter design, not just analysis
- Take full responsibility for the design and development of RF and microwave filters and subsystems
- Carry out filter simulation, optimisation and tolerance analysis
- Conduct hands-on tuning, testing and validation using lab equipment including VNAs
- Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation and design packs
- Support customer interaction during technical discussions and project delivery
We are specifically seeking engineers with proven experience in RF and microwave filter design:
- Dielectric or ceramic filters
- Hands-on experience across the full design lifecycle, including: Simulation and modelling using tools such as Microwave Office, CST, ADS or HFSS
- Laboratory experience including VNA testing and filter tuning
- Ability to operate at Senior or Principal Engineer level, with ownership of designs and contribution to project delivery
Be able to meet UK Security Clearance requirements, including a minimum of 5 years continuous UK residency.
Salary: £55,000 to £75,000 depending on experience and level.
