Working as part of a close-knit finance team, you will play a key role in keeping payroll accurate, compliant and running smoothly across the business. Key responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process across weekly and salaried payrolls
- Calculate and process weekly and 4-weekly timesheets accurately
- Generate payroll reports and ensure all data is correctly recorded
- Administer payroll changes including new starters, leavers and amendments
- Calculate statutory payments including maternity, paternity and sickness
- Support the Financial Controller and wider finance team with planning and reporting tasks
- Assist with ad hoc finance administration and project work as required
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in a payroll position with end-to-end exposure
- Working knowledge of Sage payroll systems - essential
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable working in a varied role within a busy finance function
