We are recruiting for a Logistics & Compliance Administrator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Kirkbymoorside on a temporary basis for an initial 2-month contract, with the potential to extend. This is a busy and varied administration role supporting logistics, compliance and operational activity across the business. The team are looking for someone organised, proactive and confident managing multiple admin tasks in a fast-paced environment. Due to the location, you will need your own transport.
Some of the Logistics & Compliance Administrator duties include:
- Maintaining accurate import and export logs
- Reviewing and processing freight and payment invoices for approval
- Managing annual vendor certificate renewals
- Supporting operational administration across the department
- Providing holiday cover where required
- Assisting with general compliance and documentation tasks
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with company policies, procedures and health and safety standards
- Supporting good housekeeping and administration practices across the team
About you:
- Strong administration skills with the ability to work in a busy environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Previous import/export or logistics administration experience would be beneficial, although full training will be provided
This will be working full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm and Fridays 8:30am - 4:00pm earning a salary of £13.50 per hour. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience within logistics and compliance, or for an experienced administrator available immediately for temporary work within a manufacturing environment.
