Looking to step into a hands-on interim Marketing Manager role where you can make an immediate impact across brand, digital and commercial activity? This established manufacturing business in Whitby is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager, on an interim basis to around 3-months, to support with projects and bring structure, consistency and fresh thinking to the function.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and manage brand consistency, including correct use of corporate and customer logos across all materials
- Create high-quality brochures, documents and exhibition materials for trade shows
- Act as the main point of contact for the social media agency, managing daily communication and plans
- Contribute ideas for social content to increase engagement and grow online presence
- Stay up to date with marketing trends and apply these across campaigns
- Work with senior stakeholders to develop and deliver brand plans aligned to business strategy
- Produce a range of marketing materials including presentations, sales aids and trade adverts
- Manage branded artwork and assets from brief through to final delivery with external agencies
- Co-ordinate newsletters and internal communications
- Organise and attend product photography sessions
- Support wider business projects alongside the Sales & Marketing Director
- Ensure marketing activity aligns with Sales, NPD and Operations
- Contribute to reporting and provide insight to support decision making
About you:
- Confident and commercially aware Marketing Manager, comfortable stepping into an interim role and getting up to speed quickly
- Enjoys a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery
- Able to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
- Marketing qualification or proven experience operating at a senior level
- Experience within food or FMCG would be beneficial, but not essential
Working hours and salary:
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. There is flexibility on start and finish times, with options between 8am and 5pm depending on preference. Salary is up to £50,000 (pro rata for the contract).
