An established UK structural steel manufacturer is recruiting experienced Structural Steel Welders for its Bury facility. This site is delivering long term essential infrastructure and nuclear related projects, offering genuine stability and consistent overtime. Permanent PAYE positions with immediate weld tests available.
Pay and Hours
- Day Shift - £18.12 per hour
- 37 hour standard week
- Overtime paid up to double time - £36.24 per hour
- Excellent overtime availability
The Role
- MIG / MAG and Flux Core welding on heavy structural steel
- Multi run fillet and butt welds
- Welding to structural coded standards
- Working from detailed fabrication drawings
- Working to high quality and inspection standards
- Supporting major long term infrastructure programmes
About You
- Experienced Structural Steel Welder
- Confident with MIG / MAG
- Flux Core experience preferred
- Experience working on heavy gauge structural steel
- Previous nuclear or highly regulated industry experience advantageous
- Comfortable working to strict quality and safety standards
