Are you an experienced Customer Service Administrator looking for a part time role where you can become a key part of a busy, friendly team? We are recruiting for a Part Time Customer Service Administrator to join an established business based near Thirsk. Working Wednesday to Friday, this is a varied role combining customer service, administration, reception and operational support.
Reporting to the Customer Excellence Manager, you will be an important point of contact for customers, sales representatives, drivers and visitors, helping to ensure the smooth day to day running of the site.
- Handling incoming enquiries by telephone and email
- Taking customer orders and accurately inputting them onto the company system
- Managing reception, welcoming visitors and directing enquiries appropriately
- Supporting drivers on site, including weighbridge duties and producing relevant tickets
- Maintaining and updating customer accounts
- Inputting information including daily production data and month end stock figures
- Managing meeting room bookings and arranging refreshments when required
- Providing general administrative support and maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Managing office supplies and supporting the wider team with day to day administrative requirements
We are looking for someone who enjoys dealing with people, is confident using computer systems and can manage a varied workload effectively. You will ideally have:
- A minimum of two years' experience within customer service, administration or a similar role
- Good IT skills with confidence using Microsoft Office packages and learning internal systems
This is a permanent part time position working 22.5 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The salary is £14.75 per hour, equivalent to £17,257.50 per annum for 22.5 hours per week.
