Role: Teaching Assistant

Hourly Rate: £13.68

Location: Scarborough

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support across various year groups. The role involves working alongside teaching staff to deliver engaging lessons, offering one-to-one support, and leading small group interventions to help children reach their learning goals.

The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed. Previous classroom experience is desirable but not essential; a can-do approach and willingness to learn are highly valued.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting children\’s learning in both group and individual settings
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
• Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil engagement
• Delivering targeted interventions under the guidance of teaching staff
• Helping to create a caring and stimulating learning environment
