Are you a Project Manager who enjoys bringing people together, keeping multiple priorities moving and seeing projects through from initial planning to successful delivery? An established and growing manufacturing business is looking for a Project Manager to join its collaborative Projects team. This is a varied, delivery-focused position where you will manage multiple projects at different stages, working across engineering, manufacturing and wider business functions. You do not need to come from a manufacturing background. Strong project management skills, commercial awareness and the confidence to coordinate and influence people across different teams will be key.
What you'll be doing
- Managing multiple projects concurrently from planning through to delivery
- Creating and maintaining project plans, schedules and key milestones
- Coordinating activity and resources across cross-functional teams
- Leading project meetings and ensuring agreed actions are progressed
- Monitoring project timescales, budgets, costs and resources
- Identifying project risks early and taking action to minimise their impact
- Maintaining effective project governance and documentation
- Providing clear progress updates to stakeholders
- Managing customer communication and expectations
- Influencing and supporting project teams without direct line-management responsibility
- Ensuring projects continue to meet agreed time, cost and quality objectives
What we're looking for
- Proven experience managing projects through planning and delivery
- The ability to manage several projects or priorities concurrently
- Strong planning, scheduling and risk-management capability
- Confidence coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of project budgets and costs
- Strong customer communication and relationship-building skills
- The confidence to challenge, negotiate and influence when required
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- The ability to remain organised and effective when priorities change
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, technical products, NPI or product development would be advantageous, but it is not essential.
- An APM, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent Project Management qualification would also be beneficial, but is not required.

This is a 39-hour-per-week role based in the North Yorkshire / Teesside area. The position is predominantly site-based due to the collaborative nature of the projects, with some hybrid working available following successful completion of probation.
