A well-established engineering manufacturer in Scarborough is looking to strengthen its service team with the addition of a Service Engineer. This is a varied, customer-facing role offering a strong mix of workshop-based support and international field service work, ideal for an engineer who enjoys both hands-on work and technical problem solving.

Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

Salary £39 - £43k with further earning potential

The role:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting, both remotely and on-site
  • Carry out service, repairs, overhauls and commissioning of specialist machinery
  • Support customers with training and product instruction
  • Process service requests and spare parts enquiries, including preparing quotations
  • Work closely with production and logistics to ensure smooth delivery of parts and services
  • Support administration linked to service and spare parts orders

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Service Engineer, ideally within HVAC, ventilation or similar sectors
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills on machinery and equipment
  • Confident working independently in a customer-facing environment
  • IT literate, with MS Office experience, ERP systems such as SAGE beneficial
  • Flexible approach with a willingness to travel internationally as required
