We are working in partnership with a well‑respected secondary school in Scarborough, and across a network of 8 Multi Academy Trusts, offering an exciting opportunity for a General Cover Teacher to join their team on a full‑time basis, starting as soon as possible. This role is Monday to Friday and involves delivering pre‑planned lessons across a range of subjects, making it suitable for teachers at all stages of their career, with ECTs encouraged to apply.
The Role
- You will be responsible for covering lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task while maintaining a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a variety of subjects
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Ensure a positive and productive learning environment
- Support students with their learning where required
- Follow school policies and procedures

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred
