Machine Operator
£15.00 - £16.50 per hour | Monday to Thursday | Days
Are you an experienced Machine Operator looking for a varied, hands-on role within a busy engineering and manufacturing environment?
We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business. You'll work across a range of machinery depending on production requirements, with the opportunity to develop your skills across different equipment.
Training will be provided on the company's specific machines and processes, however previous machine operating experience is essential.
- Operating a range of engineering and production machinery
- Working with equipment including plate processing machines, saws, drills, shot blasting equipment, robotic coping machinery and milling machines
- Setting up and monitoring machinery throughout production
- Carrying out basic machine checks and quality inspections
- Following job instructions and production requirements
- Working safely and efficiently within a busy manufacturing environment
- Learning additional machinery to support different areas of production when required
What we're looking for
- Previous machine operating experience is essential
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, steel processing or a similar environment
- Confident working with industrial machinery
- Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, practical and willing to learn additional machinery
Hours and pay
- £15.00 - £16.50 per hour, depending on experience
- Monday to Thursday, 7:00am - 4:45pm
- Regular overtime opportunities
- Enhanced overtime rates depending on when additional hours are worked
