The Role: As Head of Operations, you will lead business improvement initiatives across systems, technology, suppliers and internal processes. You will identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual administration and strengthen operational control while supporting the wider leadership team with business performance and strategic priorities. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines operational delivery with strategic oversight.
- Key Responsibilities
- Operational Efficiency, Systems and Automation
- Lead continuous improvement across operational systems including CRM, Microsoft 365 and business support platforms
- Review and optimise workflows to improve productivity and reduce duplication
- Drive automation and AI initiatives using existing technologies
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and best practice guidance
- Improve system adoption and operational consistency across the business
- Supplier and Commercial Management
- Manage relationships with software, telecoms and operational suppliers
- Oversee software licensing, renewals and contract management
- Negotiate supplier agreements and monitor service delivery
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve value
- Support operational budget planning and commercial decision-making
- Process Improvement and Operational Standards
- Implement scalable processes and operational frameworks
- Improve data quality, compliance and CRM usage
- Support onboarding and training on systems and operational tools
- Work with managers to improve consistency and performance across teams
- Leadership and Business Performance
- Act as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team
- Support the Managing Director with strategic priorities and business projects
- Coordinate reporting, meetings and action plans
- Analyse operational and commercial performance data
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and profitability
