The Role

We’re looking for a values-led Care Manager to join this tight-knit team of around 80. You’ll be directly supervising a small cluster of 5–6 carers, reporting into the Deputy Head of Home and the Registered Manager/CEO. Your role will focus on:

  • Supporting residents and families with dignity, honesty and compassion
  • Responding calmly and effectively in emergencies (e.g. falls or loss of consciousness)
  • Maintaining care documentation (training provided on Care Doc and Bright HR)
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and best practices

Please note: You won’t be responsible for rota planning or delivering internal training – this role is all about leading by example and supporting a high-quality care culture on the floor.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience in a senior care or supervisory role
  • Strong, calm decision-making in high-pressure situations
  • A caring, people-first approach
  • Level 3 Health & Social Care (minimum) – Level 5 desirable
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

  • 4-day working week, with alternate weekends off
  • Free meals on duty
  • Uniforms are provided and laundered on-site
  • Onsite parking
  • Planned rota 3–4 weeks in advance
