Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Sales Ledger to join a well-established business on an initial 12-week temporary basis, providing cover for an employee's absence. An hourly rate of £14 to £16 is on offer for the successful candidate with the right experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional with a background in accounts receivable, sales ledger, finance administration or credit control to join a busy finance team and provide essential support.
Working initially on-site in Pickering to support training and onboarding, with the potential for hybrid working further down the line, the Temporary Sales Ledger responsibilities will include:
- Managing accounts receivable and sales ledger activities.
- Monitoring customer accounts and ensuring outstanding balances are kept up to date.
- Supporting the timely allocation and processing of customer payments.
- Investigating and resolving account queries and discrepancies.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring transactions are processed efficiently.
- Liaising with internal teams and customers to resolve outstanding issues.
We are looking for someone with previous experience in accounts receivable, sales ledger or a similar finance role. You'll be organised, detail-oriented and confident managing financial records, resolving queries and working to deadlines.
