Job Description
Location: Pickering
Shift Pattern: 3x2 shift pattern, 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am
Pay Rate: Β£13.83 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all site Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Replenish and maintain stock levels within production Kanban areas.
- Accurately receive and locate stock into designated Kanban locations using barcode scanning systems.
- Pick and deliver WIP (Work in Progress) and purchased components to production areas in line with operational requirements.
- Carry out regular stock checks and stock-taking activities as required.
- Ensure storage locations within Kanban and production areas are organised, optimised, and maintained safely.
- Perform ICS checks and accurately book finished goods into the system.
- Prepare pallets for storage and dispatch through shrink wrapping.
- Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards throughout all logistics and production support areas.
- Promote safe working practices in all aspects of material handling and product movement.
- Support the training and development of team members where required.
Essential Requirements
- Flexible approach to working hours, including providing holiday cover and occasional weekend working.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to achieving high standards.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety, Continuous Improvement, and 5S methodologies.
- Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) Licence required

Shift Pattern A, B & C
11.40-hour shifts
Days Shift
- Wednesday to Friday
- 7:50am β 8:00pm
- Includes 2 rest days
Nights Shift
- Monday to Wednesday
- 7:50pm β 8:00am
- Includes 4 rest days
Split Shift
- Monday & Tuesday: 7:50am β 8:00pm
- Thursday & Friday: 7:50pm β 8:00am
- Includes 1 rest day
Break Entitlement
- 2 x 15-minute breaks
- 1 x 30-minute unpaid break
Pay
Β£13.83 per hour
