A good food manufacturing site is seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep production running smoothly. You’ll maintain, repair and optimise machinery while supporting continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair plant and equipment, diagnosing and resolving breakdowns quickly
  • Deliver preventative maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, hygiene and H&S standards
  • Maintain accurate records and assist senior management as required
  • Flexible approach with on-call duties during peak periods

Requirements:

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
  • Hands-on experience in food manufacturing
  • 16th/17th/18th Edition or equivalent
  • Strong problem-solving, organisation and communication skills

Desirable:

  • NEBOSH/IOSH, food hygiene qualification, previous experience in a food production engineering role

This is a great opportunity for a proactive engineer to make an impact in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment. Monday to Friday with weekend flexibility.
