Responsibilities of the Client Manager role include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients, including small and medium-sized businesses and individuals
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients and maintaining positive relationships
- Leading and supporting a growing team of bookkeepers
- Reviewing bookkeeping, non-standard transactions, and reporting key information to senior management
- Preparation and submission of annual accounts, corporation tax returns, and self-assessment returns
- VAT return preparation and submission
- Payroll processing and submission
- Preparation and submission of confirmation statements
- Tax planning for both individuals and companies
- Ad hoc financial reporting and project work as required
Requirements of the Client Manager role include:
- Fully qualified ACCA or ACA (essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Ability to work remotely and manage a varied workload
- Professionalism, integrity, discretion, and accountability
- Experience with Xero, Dext, Hubdoc, and BrightPay preferred
