- Managing recruitment activity, from advertising vacancies and interviewing through to offers and onboarding.
- Supporting learning and development, training coordination and employee engagement initiatives.
- Contributing to the delivery of the People Plan and supporting improvements to HR processes and procedures.
- Managing HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate records and compliance.
- Supporting HR systems, people reporting, payroll information and the introduction of a new time and attendance system.
- Working closely with senior leadership to support a positive, productive and engaged workforce.
About You
We're looking for an approachable, proactive and commercially aware HR professional who is comfortable balancing day-to-day operational HR with longer-term people priorities.
You'll ideally bring:
- Strong generalist HR experience, ideally gained within manufacturing or a fast-paced SME environment.
- Confidence managing employee relations cases and advising managers on employment matters.
- Experience across recruitment, onboarding, learning and development and employee engagement.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
- A practical, organised and adaptable approach, with the confidence to manage competing priorities.
- A genuine interest in supporting people, developing managers and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
This opportunity could suit an experienced HR Manager or People Manager looking for a part-time position, or a strong Senior HR Advisor ready to take the next step in their career.
What's on Offer?
- Salary of £40,000 - £45,000 FTE, dependent on experience, paid pro rata.
