Job Description

Are you a creative, hands-on Marketing Executive looking for a part-time role where you can take ownership of marketing activity and see the impact of your work?

We’re working with an established North Yorkshire business looking to recruit a Part-Time Marketing Executive, paying £35,000–£40,000 pro rata and working two days per week from their Malton office. There is also potential for the hours to increase as the role develops.

This is a broad, practical marketing position where you’ll take responsibility for day-to-day marketing activity, working closely with the wider business to increase visibility, engage customers and support sales.

Key Responsibilities

Your initial priorities will be social media, website management and marketing materials, alongside a broader range of activity including:

  • Create, schedule and publish engaging content across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Keep the website updated with products, news, promotions, events and relevant content.
  • Create and update brochures, product literature, presentations and other marketing materials.
  • Produce and edit short-form video and product-focused content.
  • Develop product promotions and campaigns designed to generate enquiries and support sales.
  • Plan and deliver marketing campaigns around products, seasonal activity and business priorities.
  • Coordinate marketing activity for events and exhibitions.
  • Support podcast, YouTube and longer-form content.
  • Work closely with colleagues to understand products, customers and commercial priorities.
  • Proactively bring new marketing ideas and identify opportunities to improve visibility and engagement.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a few years of practical marketing experience who enjoys getting involved across different areas rather than specialising in one channel.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Around 2–5 years’ experience in a Marketing Executive or similar role.
  • Hands-on social media and content creation experience.
  • Experience managing and updating website content.
  • Confidence creating brochures, presentations and marketing collateral.
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe or similar creative tools.
  • An understanding of digital marketing and basic video editing.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • The confidence to work independently and take ownership of your workload.
  • A creative approach and willingness to bring ideas to the business.
  • A commercially focused mindset, understanding how marketing can support enquiries, customer engagement and sales.

The Opportunity

This is a two-day-per-week, office-based position in Malton, with the potential for additional hours in the future.

It would suit an experienced Marketing Executive looking for a part-time opportunity, or someone with a few years’ experience who is ready to take greater ownership of a broad marketing remit.

If you’re practical, creative and commercially minded and want the opportunity to make a visible impact within an established North Yorkshire business, we’d love to hear from you.
