We're recruiting for a

1st Line IT Support Technician to join an established organisation based in Malton. Initially offered on a temporary basis, to begin with.

Working closely with an experienced IT professional, you'll become the first point of contact for users across the business, providing day-to-day technical support whilst developing your skills across Microsoft technologies and business systems.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Providing 1st Line IT Support to users across the business.
  • Logging, managing and resolving support requests through the IT ticketing system.
  • Supporting Microsoft 365 applications and user accounts.
  • Assisting with hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Setting up new users, devices and user permissions.
  • Escalating more complex technical issues where appropriate.
  • Delivering excellent customer service to colleagues across the organisation.
  • Supporting general day-to-day IT administration and projects as required.

  • Previous experience within a 1st Line IT Support, IT Service Desk or Helpdesk position.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to prioritise workload in a busy support environment.
