Job Description
We have a great opportunity for a hands-on HR Generalist within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, offering immediate impact in a standalone on-site role, on a temporary basis for 1-2 months.
Supporting the full employee lifecycle, you will work closely with managers while being backed by a wider group HR function.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and compliant new starter experience
- Act as a first point of contact for day to day HR queries across the business
- Support end to end recruitment activity, including coordinating interviews and managing candidate communication
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on people related matters and best practice
- Assist with Employee Relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance processes
- Support managers with investigations, hearings and formal meetings
- Maintain accurate and confidential records
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role
- Confident operating in a standalone on-site position
- Manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent practical experience is desirable
This will ideally be working full-time Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, however we will also consider part-time hours working a minimum of 3 days a week, earning a salary at or around £35,000 FTE.
