We are looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join a busy HR team based in Malton.
This is a varied, hands-on position supporting the day-to-day running of the HR function across recruitment, employee records, onboarding, payroll administration and general employee support.
The role would suit someone with a good grounding in HR administration who is organised, approachable and confident managing a varied workload.
Key HR Administrator Responsibilities include:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, including starters, leavers and contractual changes
- Support recruitment activity, including preparing adverts, screening applications and arranging interviews
- Prepare offer letters, contracts and new starter documentation
- Coordinate onboarding, references and induction administration
- Support weekly payroll administration, checking information and updating employee changes
- Manage leaver administration, including holiday calculations, system updates and relevant correspondence
- Prepare general HR letters and documentation relating to employee changes, maternity and flexible working
- Provide administrative support with absence, welfare and other employee relations meetings, including note taking where required
- Produce regular HR reports and assist with analysing employee data
- Maintain HR spreadsheets and trackers, ensuring information is accurate and up to date
We are looking for someone who has:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working within HR
- Good knowledge and experience of general HR administration and processes
- Confidence handling confidential and sensitive employee information
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
This will be working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday earning a salary at or around Β£28,000 depending on experience.
