This is a great opportunity to join an established and growing independent accountancy practice in West Yorkshire, supporting a varied portfolio of audit and accounts clients across Yorkshire. The role would suit an experienced Audit Senior or Audit & Accounts Senior who is confident at taking ownership of assignments and enjoys a hands-on, client-facing position. The firm operates within a general practice environment, so there is also the opportunity to gain wider exposure across accounts and audit.

Responsibilities of the Audit Senior job include:
- Taking responsibility for audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Heading audits independently and attending client sites
- Preparing and reviewing accounts
- Working across both accounts and audit assignments
- Liaising directly with clients throughout assignments
- Managing workloads and ensuring deadlines are met
- Supporting junior members of the team where required
- Taking ownership of assignments and contributing from day one
- Working with a varied portfolio of clients, including businesses with turnovers of approximately £10m–£20m
- Supporting charity audit assignments where required
Requirements of the Audit Senior job include:
- Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice (Minimum 3 years)
- ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience candidates considered
- Charity audit experience would be beneficial but is not essential
