We are working in partnership with a well-respected school in Kirkbymoorside, and across a network of 8 Multi Academy Trusts, offering an exciting opportunity for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.
The Role
- Support the class teacher in a KS1 setting, helping to deliver engaging lessons and providing additional support to pupils to aid their development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher with lesson delivery
- Work with small groups and on a one-to-one basis
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour
- Help prepare learning materials and resources
- Support pupils with their academic and social development
- Participate in school activities and training
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable
