We are working with a well-regarded and forward-thinking Secondary setting in the Scarborough area that is committed to delivering high-quality STEM education and supporting students to achieve their full potential. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join the school from September on a full-time long-term basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting students of varying abilities and helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher looking to join a supportive school community where innovation, student engagement and professional development are highly valued.
The successful candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate learners. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers.
Key responsibilities:- Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Supporting student progress, attainment and engagement within the classroom
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

- Working collaboratively with colleagues and wider pastoral teams
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
